PRE & POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Both pre-care & aftercare instructions MUST be followed to ensure safety and optimal results.
PRIOR TO YOUR EYEBROW APPOINTMENT
Leading up to your appointment, you should avoid plucking or waxing your brows because we make your new brow shape based on current measurements. Avoid using exfoliators 72 hours before the application, especially skincare products containing glycolic acid, retinol, and alpha hydroxy acids, since they may inflame the skin. If you take blood-thinning medication, please consult a doctor before making an appointment.
If you wear eyebrow pencil we ask you to wear your pencilled eyebrows to the consultation the way you would like them to appear after the cosmetic tattoo has healed. Alternatively, you can bring a pictorial representation of the preferred eyebrow design.

PRE-TREATMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 72 hours

No face scrubs or chemical peels at least two weeks prior

Avoid tanning so we can assess your natural skin tone

Reference pictures of brows are always welcomed - we will then work together to create the perfect brows

Feel free to come in with your brow makeup done so we can see your every day look

BROW AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Aftercare is essential. To achieve the best results, we provide you detailed instructions on what to do and not do during the first few days after your microblading appointment.
After your procedure, clients MUST follow these instructions:

No heavy sweating for at least four days

Stay out of direct sunlight

Within 2 hours after the procedure, clean brows using a q-tip and lightly moisten with distilled or cooled downed boiling water. Gently wipe away the old healing balm and any lymphatic liquid (clear yellowish liquid) that may have built up. Lightly pat dry with tissue and using a new q-tip, re-apply healing balm to the brows

Do not put makeup on the eyebrow area for a minimum of 10 days. Microbladed area is an open wound, using makeup may cause infections.

Brow area will feel slightly itchy as it heals and will start to scab over lightly. Do not peel or pick at the scabs as this can affect the outcome and pigmentation.

No face scrubs or chemical peels at least two weeks after.

Make sure to apply a light layer of healing balm morning and night to eyebrows for at least 5-7 days. Do not over-apply.

Do not immerse brow area in water for 14 days.

When showering, make sure to avoid the face area.

Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 24 hours.

Do not go swimming, tanning or into saunas for at least 14 days.
